About the Burlington Teen Tour Band Boosters Inc.

Originating in the late 1960’s, parents and supporters of the Burlington Teen Tour Band gathered to help with the planning and organizing of the various activities of the Band. This group of parents and supporters became known as the “Boosters”. The Booster organization was incorporated as a registered non-profit charity in 1974 to formalize the manner in which it would function as prime supporters of the Burlington Teen Tour Band.

The mandate of the Burlington Teen Tour Band Boosters is to promote and support all activities of the Burlington Teen Tour Band and in particular, without limiting the generality of the foregoing:

  1. To support the study and production of music by the members of the Burlington Teen Tour Band through concerts, marches and otherwise;
  2. To promote the efficient operation of the Burlington Teen Tour Band; and,
  3. To support activities designed to demonstrate to the public, either directly or indirectly, the training in good citizenship provided by the Burlington Teen Tour Band to the Band members.
